I bought the charcoal at 7.99 and had a coupon for free kc masterpiece bbq sauce when you buy charcoal. I also have a coupon for $2 off charcoal and a $3 food lion coupon. I also had a coupon for $6 off pork when you buy charcoal. That makes the total to $2.99

Whew. I am glad for a break too. I did some major stockpiling last week and my pantry is packed to the gils.

I have had trouble getting my Publix to take Target printable coupons. Something about the bar code being too long… Any advice about this?

    A message from reader Sherry:
I went to the Publix in Smyrna last night. They had the Bic mechanical
pencils (10 pack) 3 for $3 with a limit of “2 deals”. The sign said it
was an in-store special, and they had plenty of packs. They were on a
back-to-school display at the front of the store, in the school supply
section and hanging at the end of the school supply aisle.

With the $1 off 2 Bic coupon and the $1 off 2 Target coupons, this made
    them free!

I don’t know if all the Publix stores is doing this promo…

I used a couple of my FREE Mars candy bar coupons yesterday on dark Snickers bars, and they only rang up at $.50 each (instead of $.89). Apparently, they were on sale; I don’t know which other candy bars might or might not be on sale. But, this would be a good time to use the $1.00 off two candy bars coupon (Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers, or Milky Way) from the 7/26 RP. Get two candy bars for free!
